How do I make duct tape?

It shows in the menu that I have enough materials to make 24 duct tape rolls but there is no craft button. Is there some special way I have to make it?

You have glue and cloth in your inventory? Then you should just be able to craft it from your inventory while standing around, or at a workbench since it can craft all the things you can craft from your inventory.

If you don't have that option either you're missing an ingredient, you're at a workstation that doesn't craft it like a chemistry table, you're running a mod that makes it work differently, or there's a bug.

Ok now it's letting me craft it without a workbench. Weird how the craft button wasn't there when I selected the recipe and I had the ingredients. Maybe a bug or something.

You can craft duct tape out of the backpack, no workbench required.

If this happens again, a screenshot could probably shed light on the issue.
