How to get rid of a static trader that you spawned(SP)?
Hello!

I spawned a static trader at my base for role-playing purpose , and I forgot to set him to look at me so now I'm stuck at having to talk to his back everytime. Is there a way to make him killable or to remove him. I know of the mod that lets you do this but I'm playing on SP.

I would appreciate if someone can tell me either the bad news or great news. Thanks.

Go into the console, list entities to find the ID of your trader, then removeentitiy ID#

tried it but it didn't work it only said unknowncommand

Looks like a typo. Try removeentity. You can also type help in the console for an alphabetically sorted list of commands.

Nope, I can't see anything about removeentity only removequest

Is there a way to remove the immoratlity from them as I can't kill him? It says it gives 9999 damage to him but nothing happens. There is a value on him dead=false can you change this maybe?

Are you sure that you don't have the mod from from alocc and cappi I think they're called? I know that mod has an removeentity command but that is only for servers.

When I run the "help removeentity" command I get no command or no command with that topic

i had the same problem a while back i read about some things like you can reset a portion of the map where the trader is? im not too sure how but what i ended up doing was just dug underneath him straight down a ways then filled up the hole lol

FIXED

Ok so me and a friend spawned a few of the traders and had trouble getting rid of them. We managed to delete them.

We simply did the following:

Activate debugmenu (dm in console)
Activate creativemenu (cm in console)
Use the Dev: Supper Digger to dig straight down under your spawned traders.
Next, fly directly above the hole/trader looking straight down.
Now do lp (LP) in console and note the id-# (copy the number)
Now do chunk reset <id number from previous command>

Restart your game and it should be good to go. Worked for us

Hey guys, so I found a solution to get rid of trader. But first lets walk you through the steps to get this situation. If you spawned a trader while the Debug Menu is active ( pressing F1 , type dm (Debug Menu) into the console, enter , press F6 for spawning menu and you can spawn the trader. Then if you want to get rid of the trader now, you can use the following steps. Use the Dev : super digger , which is a Dev tool (Press F1 , type cm (Creative Menu is now active) , press u on keyboard to pull up the Creative Menu , type super digger or just click the Dev tool icon (Dev Blocks) which looks like 3 pc's icon and select the Dev : super digger or type Dev in the search bar to list all the Dev tools. Now using the super digger shot the blocks around and directly below the trader to plunge the trader into the bottom of the world, to the point where you cannot pass the bedrock zone at the bottom of the world. then using another Dev tool , the Terrain Add Tool, you can access this tool by pressing u for the creative menu and type Dev in search bar and select the Dev : Terrain Add Tool (the icon looks like a grass block with a + sign) and while at the bottom of the hole you have made - use the tool, the Terrain Add Tool (In the game, it looks like a giant sphere when you equip and hold in your hands) the tool adds terrain to the world. Fill the hole you made with the Terrain Add Tool (Hold left click to start filling) to the point where it completely fills the hole with terrain and make sure you also fill the place where the trader is (Remember the trader is at the bottom of the hole you made) to the point where the trader will surprisingly die. Now I don't know why or how the trader dies but it seems it happens when you fill the hole with the trader in it. I assume that the trader gets pushed out of bounds, out pass the bedrock zone to the point that the game knows this but sadly can't keep them alive. Or gets crushed from the Terrain Add Tool. But be sure to check the console for info regarding the trader through this process, maybe it might say something about that. So you will know you officially have eliminated the trader when a backpack is near by, for me the backpack that use to belong to the trader spawns at the level you started with them above the hole. (This backpack is blue, almost like a friends backpack that you either have invited to your party or allied with). This solution worked for me, and if you find a more efficient way to get rid of the trader, please share any thoughts or concerns.

If u didn't have ur game already in creative load out an log back in to game
