There is also controls for zoom / looking around the map, but they are not listed anywhere in the UI, because why would you list controls in your video game?
When you start a new game, it should appear in that same scroll list where you would pick the pre-gen/nav. maps.
The name of the map vs. the seed one enters to create the map is a confusing thing. It's why I take screenshots (or notes) because otherwise I will NEVER remember what similar sounding map names go with what map I made/I want to play at the moment. >.>
Game Name
Game World
Generated World Name
What is with all these names??? especially the ones the game keeps auto filling for us.

This is covered in the pinned FAQ.
atm i have maps with the same game world name.
the naming system it adds are all using repeating words for me who is dyslexic i can never follow any of it and it really looks like a foreign language
my brain just can not ever register them and my brain tunes it out.
a good way to describe it is imagine the devs used ink blops instead of those name and you had to remember the same ink blop later.
it would be better if common city names got used as that would be seen and recognized (by my brain) and get rid of all the north, west, south, east. to many repeating words
know your not a dev just a mod but still wanting to share my thoughts.
The play lists also seems to order them alphabetically vs. "last one created" so if you don't remember/write down the names of all the ones ever made, it's confusing or impossible to sift through 30, 50, or more map names.
So I just screenshot and later sift through those as reference, and delete the actual map folders of any I didn't like, to continually reduce that in-game list size.
The names are made up and "random". Basically, the system pulls from a list of two-letter syllables to make unique words that, while perhaps sounding weird, at least have no grammatical conflicts. That's why it goes consonant-vowel, as stated above, so they will always "fit".
If it really bothers you, just go to your Generated Worlds folder and change the name of the world to anything you like.
You must do this BEFORE starting a new game. Any saves using the old name will be inaccessible.
