A20: Sewing Kit Rarity?

Hey guys,

I am having a difficult time finding Sewing Kits, normally in A19 they weren't super rare, clothing containers would have maybe 1 or two per residential POI, and sometimes found in garbage containers. Now in A20, I'm coming across maybe 1, 2 if I'm lucky, after going through several POIs.

Granted I am also struggling for acid, but that too could be up to RNG, as others have not had this issue.

More concerned with the sewing kits because I can see TFP focusing more on it being a health/debuff remover and not a junk/recipe component. Then a decreased the drop rate to increase the early game difficulty, like they did Honey/Antibiotics, would make sense.

I'd like to know three things to understand a bit more in A20:
1) What's the drop rate/rarity of the Sewing Kit?
2) What containers should I be looking for? Are they still found in garbage containers?
3) What XML file can I look at to see the drop rates?

1) very rare
2) everything where you can loot clothing, clothing stores, bedroom shelfs but you will not need that much

I think I pulled 18 sewing kits from a savage country store alone.
So that could be a good place to start.

Not looked at them much, since I had around 30 by day 10 tho. For everyone something else seems to be damn rare all of a sudden. For me it is Acid, but certainly not food or sewing kits.

I never use the sewing kits for treating lacerations. I always want them for crafting armor, and--most importantly--pocket mods, so I'm always stockpiling them for when I've got all the materials for pocket mods... and then later when I get the schematics for cargo pocket mods, and double/triple armor pockets. And of course for making military armor eventually.

Just looted a savage country store and found more clothes than would fit in 3 of my inventories on the bottom floor. Lot of BDU clothes which is nice. But through the entire store I didn't find a single sewing kit.

To answer the original question #3, the loot probabilities are defined in Config/loot.xml.

I've noticed that in higher tier POIs (T4 and T5, but maybe some T3 too), the end-loot chest can have quite a few sewing kits (>10 per chest) pretty consistently (80%?). I've only checked a dozen times though so I might have gotten super lucky, and I'm not sure how loot stage factors in (I think my loot stage was over 100, it's been quite a while since I've played a character to T4 missions).
