Why can't I Connect electric Fence post to Generator?
This has to be the most frustrating thing yet, I have watched videos where people connect electric fence post to a generator yet it will not allow me to do so I keep getting message stating "The Power Source Can not have a parent connection" What does that mean.

So i tried using a replay and connected the electrical fence post to the reply which works and then when i hook the generator to the replay it disconnects the electrical fence post from the reply, so how in the hell is some one to make a connect when you can't make a connection, this makes no sense what so ever, can some one please explain because i watched countless videos and have kept returning all day to review and make sure i watched it correctly yet it still does not work. I saw people placing the electrical fence post and then connecting it a generator and it worked, I do it just like they did and it won't allow me to connect.

Work downstream. Connect at the generator end first and the electric fence end second.

A "parent connection" means a connection coming from a parent object. Such objects are things that give out power to other objects letting them work, however they themselves (solar panels and gas generators,) can't have in going connections. They can only give power, not receive it.
Speaking of.

The main reason it likely isn't working is simple. When you connect any one thing to another the wires used are all one-way with how they send their power, so you are likely trying to connect the fence to the generator (hence the error message), instead of the generator to the fence.

When you hold the wiring tool you can see, among other things, which direction the power lines will be sending their power in.
