How to prevent zombies from spawning in a fenced area(sp)
so i have my base in a poi(the dock on spillway lake) and use that as my main base, and just now i built a huge wall around it so i can farm and leave my bike out. but the problem is zombies keep spawning in my walled area. they dont spawn in the house, just outside of it. is there anything i can do? also i read that zombies dont spawn in water but, they do, i already had to kill a mini horde that spawned in the lake

Do you have a land claim block? Lay it so that it extends to encompass the area you don't want spawned in.
no i dont but ill try that, also do you know why do zombies spawn in a lake?

IF they are spawned due to Activity Level (heat) than they will spawn nearby regardless. I have had literaly a Horde chain spawn next to me. I get it, no game is perfect. I was kinda moving erratically, sure system lag contributed.
so the land claim block is WAY too small for my whole area, any tips?

Land claim block on one end, Sleeping bag on the other? Sleeping bag has a similer effect but its radius is smaller.

Not sure if the Old or King Beds do something similer.
still, id need like 4 land claims to fill my area

LCB's only block sleeper respawns, not world / horde / screamer. And while the radius can be extended out to 70 blocks, only the most recent placed block will count. So you'd still only have the effect of 1 block.
i know, but how is it fair that zombies can spawn in a ´´sealed´´ area, to which they have no acces, unless they destroy my wall?

Other than within the bounds of a landclaim block and/or a bedroll the game has no way of knowing it's a "sealed" area. Nor does it care. It only knows that the area within these bounds, ( landclaim or bedroll) are off limits so to speak.

What if you walled off and completely cleared a whole city of every zed? Or a square kilometer? Or built a wall around the border of the map and cleared every zed out of it? Would it still be unfair if they could spawn inside your "sealed" area?

The only two solutions I can add to those already said by others is to either reduce the size of your base, or modify the landclaim block radius in the xml files so that it will cover your whole base area.

yes, it would still feel unfair to me, since i went and farmed the resources, crafted the frames, placed the frames, upgraded them, and killed every single zombie in the map,it would take IRL DAYS to do that, and for what? to have zombies magically apear out of thin air? i get your point, but i still think its unfair. im not about to make my base which i spent HOURS walling off smaller, and since the lcb wont disable zombies spawning inside my area, its quite pointless to edit my xml file

Fair enough. I fully understand and agree with what you're saying in principle... and I'm not going to try to even pretend to say what you feel is fair or unfair is right or wrong. Everyone sees things differently... but from gameplay mechanics, there has to be limits within a game, rules that apply to that game's reality. If games didn't have these "rules" then every game would just be one big Godmode-fest.

Basically, if the zombies couldn’t spawn anywhere, then they’d fail in their essential purpose of posing a threat to the player, on horde night and in general. On top of that, you can only spawn a zombie on a loaded chunk of the world, or else it wouldn’t do anything (it can’t move over ground that’s not there). And you can’t load too many chunks of the world at once, for performance reasons. So you keep the chunks closest to the player loaded, because that’s where the player interacts with things. Those chunks are where the zombies can spawn.

That’s how it all boils down to a result where zombies must spawn somewhat close to the player. It’s difficult to see what alternative there is, if one accepts the premise that zombies are needed on demand.
