Can you help this guy find a tree stump?
I mean, they simply don't exist for square miles around my starting areas in my Nazmap game. Woe woe rng etc etc but it's really kinda ridiculous. Playing permadeath but I will guilt-free respawn, pout, and generally have trouble sleeping for a week or so over this nonsense.

Ug, RNG is the most fickle *blank blank blank* ever. We have ALL felt your pain. But to be fair...it's what makes the game a challenge. Sometimes you score...sometimes you don't. The nature of RNG means it can't ever be 100% fair and balanced...just like doing a dungeon 200 times for a drop and your friend gets it on the FIRST run..*sideways glare*

In my current game I spawned in the snow biome, start was rough but now it's shaping up to be the best save in my entire 7D2D adventure!

The snow biome is the best place to look for stumps. I don't know if they spawn there more frequently than the forest biome, or if the more barren terrain makes them easier to spot, but it works either way.

I have found many, so yes.

I've always found the most stumps next to towns. Like on the outskirts.

I spawned in the forest biome but also near the burnt biome. There is a heck of a lot of stumps through out my area. Sometimes I get honey from them which is always handy to have.

That sounds awesome.

Well unlike random gen Navezgain was handcrafted. Its been awhile since I played it,but I can't remember how often I saw tree stumps there. I thought there were quite a few, but I could be wrong.

I find the top faces of the stumps easy to spot in pretty much any biome. They stick up taller than the grass, and the wood is a yellowy color not found elsewhere in the terrain since everything's so saturated now.
