Entity name plates?
My partner accidentally pressed a key or key combination that we haven't been able to identify or replicate, that caused all entities to have a sort of nameplate pop up that had identifying information like their ID, their coordinates, their status such as wandering, investigating, hostile.. Does this sound familiar to anyone and do you know how to toggle this?

I've tried searching but apparently I can't figure out the right key words to hunt this down.

Unsure, is there something in there that would do it?

I dont know hardly any of the overall commands, that you can google.

As an admin on a server i know theres alot of commands

for example " Lp " shows all players on the servers position

theres acommand to kill all the zombies as well

reset the day and time ect ect

so what happened sounds ALOT like a command console thing

have him go back in game and press F1, then press the " up arrow " key, that will show the last command that was entered.

Keep pressing the " up arrow " to show the latest commands that were entered

It's been a couple of days since this happened, so I don't think that's an option. Also they bumped the keyboard when leaning over it so I don't think it was a specific console command

google all commands and see if any do what happened

If you're in debug mode, toggling R will bring those up.
Gelatin Skeleton Jan 9, 2019 @ 4:13pm
Toggling R where? Because that's typically reload, but toggling it the options menu and the prefab menu don't seem to do anything

I was refering to bringing up debug mode (dm) from console while in game. Then whatever you have assigned to "reload/take all" command will toggle that info over the entities head.
Gelatin Skeleton Jan 9, 2019 @ 4:34pm
That enables the debug mode, allowing for the different tools to be used, yes, but reload is still reload and not the toggle for that info unless there's a particular way to do it.

Ya, that's strange. When I go into dm and hit reload, all the info tags appear for all the entities and it doesn't matter if they are in view or not. The reload action for the weapons still takes place too.

I am in single player, maybe that makes a difference. There must be another set of keys, like you mentioned, that bring that up. I'm at a loss there.

I appreciate the effort though, thank you

I played around a bit and discovered that number pad 0 did what I was looking for
FreedomTrucker Jan 9, 2019 @ 7:27pm
Oh man, I should have said that. I always have my reload binded to that key. I didn't realize it had that seperate function on its own. Sorry about that. I'm glad you found it though.

Yeah I'm gonna necro the hell out of this and say "thank you". I couldn't figure this out.

Numpad 0 fixed it.
