Or you just have him keep playing, and every time you go to a new POI, you say, "You go first, Mr. Million XP." :)
I tried putting the persistance profiles off and my friend create a new profile but he keeps respawning being lvl 130. No idea why.
Of course we keep playing the same map because its annoying create a new one and start from cero again. He keep bullying us with his lvl 10 in strengh, destroying our things, etc.
But it could be useful add a command to remove exp... 7d developers, read this.
First; Have him take off all of his gear and store it in a chest before shutting down the server (Not sure if shutdown is necessary, but since the next part involves deleting a file, i'd assume 'yes')
Go to "C:\Users\YourUsernameHere\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves\WorldNameHere\GameSaveNameHere\Player" and find the .ttp file that applies to his steam account and delete it, and the backup of it (.ttp.bak)
Just to save you a tiny bit of trouble, -your- file will be named "76561198185550269.ttp". So don't delete that one. :P
Doing this should force the server to generate a new .ttp file for his steam account when he joins, aka, make him a new level 1 character again. then you just give him an appropriate amount of exp to catch back up again.
(The above can also be done to RP waking up in the apocalypse as a certain type of character. A security guard, or cop, a hunter, etc)
I assumed that deleting a file was the solution, but I was wrong to think that my friend should remove it from their files. And of course... the names of the saves files are unintelligible for me
and I had no idea what to delete.
So, I will try that man! Ty very much for ur answer.
Exactly... I start a world playing with a friend (at the beggining we were two). And then other friend join us. We were playing in high difficulty (two days were missing for the red night with zombies in nightmare), so we decided give him the exp to help us at least, but when he enter the command he put a cero more and give himself 4 millions exp instead 400 thousand.
No, it doesn't. I tryied that too. Only positive numbers.
My solution would be to set the max number of players in your game to 2 and add a password that only you and your original friend know. Don't let him back in to your game. Do you really want to play with someone who keeps bullying you?
LOL.
He is a troll and a bully, but a funny one. And he is our friend, my friend, so we can't ban him. And I can give my word that he added a cero for mistake, not on purpose. But ty for the advise... If we begun a new server and for mistake he adds another cero in any command i will make sure he receives his deserved punishment.
Soon I will try deleting files and refresh this post if it works.
Ty all for the answers
EASY
As for skillpoints/abilities, I imagine it'd remove the latest skillpoints in reverse order.
And instead of manually raising XP edit the Quest.XML
For example Changes in the bedroll quest
and wher is the qvest folder can you send place
