Half walls?

I'm currently setup in a old shed, I can upgrade some of the walls but it does not seems like i can craft the walls im upgrading

The walls I am talking about is half a block of what a frame is and sits at the edge of a wall and only cover one side of a full block. The regular wood frame covers a whole block on all sides. I could not find it in creation mode. Am I missing something?

The wood frame block is the correct block you are after!

Notice how the wood frame has a odd icon on it now? If you click the book up above the materiel list.. it gives you a nice description on what the new wood frame does. Remember this small tip for other things in the game, the description tab is quite handy.

Holding "R" (reload for me) while equipped brings up the wheel menu, select shapes and choose what you want.

The wood frame is everything. All blocks with the shapes icon are the same deal.

Same goes for concrete, brick and cobblestone. Instead of calculating how many stairs, ramps, wedges, pillars and other stuff you need - you just craft 1 type of block and choose which shape you wanna place down.

That’s less than half a block... you’re probably looking at a “plate” shape.

I found it, its actually the normal white fence but you change the shape and it actually changes the texture of the object.

What matters is that you upgraded it. That’s the reinforced wood texture used on everything upgraded to reinforced wood (that hasn’t been painted). There may be multiple blocks that can upgrade to what’s in the screenshot, which I’m still pretty sure is a reinforced wood plate.

There are a few blocks unavailable outside the creative menu, and I think last I checked, that might have been one of them. IIRC, I was trying to repair the walls of the cemetery, and couldn’t find a direct replacement anywhere.

There are a few wood shapes that are also locked to the Table Saw, wooden stairs and wedge tips being the two I remember off the top of my head. Find / build a Saw and see if the shape you want is one of the options.
