Exploding Buldings and "Nuke bombs?"

Hey, I was playing with my friends, when suddenly random buldings started exploding, first it was a farmhouse, then an even bigger crater on the farm house, then a radio tower and so on.

In the middle of this, these purple/pink ish bombs starting spawning behind me and exploding, creating holes in the road and wherever i went, they just kept exploding.

And then it started making a trail of holes in the ground after me, just one small trail. It stopped for a while, and then the purple bombs started spawning behind me even if i ran into buldings or on top of buldings and stuff.

Can anyone please explain what happended here? No cheats or anything were turned on. It just kept happening, even after we left the city that it happended in.

The only explanation ive seen is landmines, but that's just not possible, it was purple bombs, i picked one up at one point, they were called "Nuke Bombs". I don't know where they came from, and thought id look for an answer here.

I also randomly leveled up from level 4 to level 55.

Either the server is in CM mode or somebody was using admin tools to spawn in the dev-tool only "Nuke Grenades" to grief you.

Yep. Cheats (or I suppose, mods) were in fact on, whether or not you were aware of it, OP. A mischievous person joined your game.

I'd elaborate, but I'd break all the dirty word characters on my fancy keyboard...
