How to Ride/Drive in First Person

To do this, just climb onto a ladder and from that ladder get onto your bike directly - it should seat you onto the bike in first person. Have tested this a couple times and can confirm it works. Have not tested on anything other than a bike.

It functions well and as would be expected. I think the developers should implement this as an in-game feature that you can switch back and forth from. I liked the new perspective.

Hey, that looks cool. And I hate to say it, but it also looks like a bug. So I hope they either turn it into a real feature, or else make fixing it a low low priority.

It is a bit of a bug. And it does work with all vehicles, can confirm.

There is also a sly little issue with it where sometimes you can be trapped in 1st person to where even when you exit the vehicle and go walking around you'll still see the handlebars/dashboard in front of you and it can persist through relogging.

Buyer beware.

There is a mod that makes all vehicles use 1st person without the ladder trick.
I tried it, but feel the camera is too low for comfortable usage.
