Not a great call to have a video about a new zombie type that's so far away I couldn't really see it, especially with the new weather, but oh well.
Would be interesting if the swarm of flies (or whatever) had new behaviours, like it can move through bars or bullets pass through it. I'd be fine with the flies only dying when their spawning Z was put down, but maybe fire/explosive damage could put them down too.
The screen effect was already shown earlier (for a different biome), before this desert plague spitter video.

Using range nulls the threat, completely, using melee just makes the players life more difficult.
