But yeah clay is everywhere, except possibly desert. (or wasteland? I forget, is there clay soil under that top layer of rubble?)
I actually do kinda miss having to look for clay deposits back in the day, I think it was A18 or A19 that merged it with soil.
I always have tons of iron, rocks, sand, coal etc., but not the clay. Would be cool to be able to find it even in very deep places; just like sand.
I usually spend 3/4 of a day inside my mine, grinding metal or coal+saltpetre & rocks/sand.
Buried supplies quest allows me to get some easy dukes and 1-2k clay.
Having clay deep underground would be still great imo
Repeat as needed. Certain POIs can have large areas of soil round them that reset.
