[ALPHA 13 BUG] Index out of range exception

When clicking on the character icon in the new inventory screen, it brings up the console and shows me

IndexOutOfRangeException:array index is out of range.

I don't get a character screen.

GUYS i'm not joking this really does work as mentioned before... Go back to your char creation... Add facial hair to him and bam it works... That's soooo funny!

did you guys uninstall, delete the files in my docouments and appdata?

deleted everything and reinstalled. new (male) profile.. and im stuck with that index error and only get 1 frame per second on multiplayer

Female profile works, and male profile with facial hair (mustache) works. lol too funny.

Edit: Only tried this with single player, not multi.

I tried everything from the above but nothing works. may be because I play on a multiplayer server. can't seem to use another charactor online. Hoping for a quick bug fix update!

Tried all steps mentioned and Unistalled - re-installed still getting the same bug

Change your character to plain hair and maybe try different beards.I thought you had to delete the profile but I see someone changed there current profile to random and had it go away.That tells me its in the combination.People should try this

Yes, different combinations are the cause. Male having more combinations can have more potential issues. Also changing the male options when creating a character profile seems to be a cause (again probably due to the increased options). As I mentioned in the linked thread, the devs are already on it and should hopefully be in the first patch.

A guy in the forums just mentioned this and it makes total sense. If you have tried everything and joining on a random server and you do not know what those server settings are ,this bug could still effect you.Maybe

Reinstall game and create new profile. I got this too. !!
