Best stuff to sell to trader?
Ive hoarded plenty of materials for crafting. Are there specific items that are worth a lot of dukes after crafting relative to cost in materials?

If I'm interested in selling for dukes, I generally sell plastic, electric/mechanical parts, springs, the metal pipes. Mostly because I scavenge everything in sight and I get 1000's of all of those (over time). They sell pretty decent in bulk like that.

Most other things I'd sell in small amounts here and there, because I don't get oodles of them.

I'll give TFP credit, they nerfed the snot out of resale items for 1.0.

My usual was hording mods and then putting them on T4 higher loot, and you'd get 1000's of Dukes, Now that same upgraded gear brings in 100's.

But looky here. All these books I read are worth 20 Dukes, and I can stack them in 20's for 400 before Sugar Butts or being invested into trading. And the usual read books worth 100 to 160 Dukes bottom line.

Between modded gear, armor, and books, I'm still holding my own from A21. Bought 2 crucibles long before Forge Ahead got completed. The whole idea was to wean you off the trader. I think it impacts Duke goblins for brass smelting more than anything.

Apparently using the player vending machines is the way to make big money now, seems like certain items sell for a LOT of Dukes. You can probably find more than a few videos out there about it on YouTube.

Super Corn

It seems plastic resale did not get nuked. Also oil. I'm sure I'm missing other high resale items. Books / Magazines. Armor, Mods, Parts.

Supercorn for sure, a stack of 125 is like 10-15k

But early game, just sell everything.

Automobile headlights, stack of 50, sell for a lot (unless they nerfed those too).

Repair and sell everything you don't need.

I would not bother actually making anything to sell to him.

Just sell him all the stuff you don't care about, or things that's you've maxed. I'm playing intellect build and there's 6 skills I've maxed to 100 already. Every one of those magazines I've found just get sold now.

But honestly, I make most of my dukes from quest rewards. Intellect has a perk for increasing the amount of dukes you get from those. At max, it lets you pick two rewards from the list which is really nice.

Make paint brushes. They sell for 40 and only take a leather and some wood.

Non-exploiting, salvaging cars and selling stacks of brass, mechanical parts, headlights, etc. is nice

Plastic, Mechanical Parts, Electrical Parts, Springs, full stack of scrap metal with copper being the highest I think, and a few others. With copper being everywhere and scrapping radiators to make around 900 a stack it's a great way to get some cash. Even full stacks of dirt and stone can get some decent cash.

Super corn and electrical parts.

electrical parts you can get around 2k+ per T5 POI. super corn is easily farmable and sells for a crapton. Just remember to buy all of the suger butts you see in vending machines to make a little extra. I usually don't sell stuff unless a trader has a Q5 solar cell or another really expensive item; i don't like wasting the consumables on just selling 1-3 stacks of something.

Everyone realizes that once items are posted here, it will get nerfed.

Be careful

The disparity I noticed today was that cooking pots and grills cost 600 to buy, which is substantially more than, say, acid at 420. That’s bizarre, since one is a Day 1 need and the other is a Day 40+ need or however fast one progresses. I don’t know if they stack well, but they’re certainly cheap to craft once you can.
