Double Horde night
Just a question - has anyone noticed the horde nights have drastically increased in size? I haven't changed any settings on mine and my partner's server, but suddenly horde nights are lasting until almost day time the next day.
Horde night 2 happened twice, we finished the first night about 0200, got the finishing music, no hordes in sight and happily logged off... then logging back in I spwaned into horde night part 2 which lasted well until 0600 the next day.
We can cope with it, it was just a bit of a surprise is all!

Yeah your problem was logging out and then logging in durin a horde night. Always wait for morning to come or the game will spawn a new one.

If you log off before morning the horde will start again.

This has always restarted the horde. Some people do it just to farm more horde xp.

Also, horde nights lasting until the next day is expected. There’s a total number of zombies each horde night, which increases as you progress (once that’s exhausted, you may get a small trickle until morning). In practice, this total extends further and further into the night until you’re inevitably getting zombies all the way until morning. You could increase the Blood Moon count to increase the flow rate in hopes of dispatching them faster, but in the long run it’s just normal to have zombies all night.

Beware, same is true for all other "event/missions" - If you log out during a trader-job then you also get a reset and have to restart
