Save game from previous alpha build can't be loaded - FIXED

Greetings,

I got the following error message when trying to load a save game from a previous alpha version:

"Saved game was played with a different major release of the game. This game cannot be continued with this game version as it would cause corruption".

Thanks to Dogmilk answer on this thread, there is a solution to this issue: within Steam's game library select 7 Days to Die, "right click > properties > betas > select previous build".
