TL;DR
You Cannot, it's alpha lol
About that fancy screenshot with airdrop crate "out of reach". Why, I see you have 159 wooden frames in your inventory and you can't reach that crate on the top of street lighting post? :)
You find the gills book, I'll work on crafting the photocopier powered by a car battery ;)
And, I did try to point down. No faster. Thanks thow.
What about destroying the lightpole then ? Sure that would take a while with a stone axe for example, but at least then you are still on the ground and can run away if zeds come. Not really on topic with the swim issue, but just asking. Thanks.
EDIT..But you have plenty of blue tools in your belt in the shot so that should be helpful.
Hey, it's cool. I have had the same thing happen in trees and other vertical obstacles in the game. I "think" (unless they changed it) you cannot interact with the signs like at the book stores and hardware stores. You can destroy the poles but the signs just "float" there in midair and don't fall. This also sugggests that the supply crates would maybe just fall through that part of the sign and not get caught up on it, unless all that has been changed recently so not sure on that.
Just in case it happens to you again, friend. Thanks for the reply !
EDIT..What is interesting to me is that in your shot, the parachute is no longer attached to the crate, and I "thought" the chute did not disappear until the crate hit the actual ground but I guess I was wrong on that.
