Add Quick Repair Hotkeys Like Conan: Exiles
If its already in the game I haven't found it.

Anyways what Conan allows you to do is when an item wears out all you have to do is click the number for the slot its in of your hot bar. If you have the items needs, its repaired. No extra steps to: open menu, click on item, repair, and exit menu.

There's a hotkey for it. Usually for most of the options there are.

When you select an item, in the top center-ish of the screen, you'll see the description box and a list of options like "Use" "Equip" "Repair" etc; Those options have bits of text beside them like "<W>" "<A>" "<S>" "<D>" "<Q>"-- those are the hotkeys to use that function on that item.

I know of them, but you have to still go into the menu and do extra steps to repair an item when all you should have to do is press "1" to fix for example a Stone Axe, which is in that slot of the hot bar.

A fair bit of us play on nerfed loot and starting off those few repair kits are valuable. Id hate to accidentally press the wrong button. Imo the current system works and is best suited. It takes like 3 extra seconds for a game you could be playing hours on. Not a big issue here.

In the middle of a Horde Night every second counts. Having to take extra steps causing you to pause, but not the zombies, to do a bunch of extra unnecessary steps will get you killed.

As for accidentally repairing an item, it can't be done. The action only works when the item's meter is completely drained after selecting it, so you would have to do the "mistake" as you call it twice for a repair not wanted to happen.

I get that, but chances are you wont die repairing an item, and if you come to horde night with a single weapon I guess thats on you.

Repairing is quick, waiting on the repair to finish will more likely to kill you if thats the scenario we are talking about, not fumbling with buttons which by the way is B click A - very quick.

Repair could probably be put on the reload key radial menu, alongside the different ammo types, without much trouble. That would be fewer key/button presses, wouldn’t require a new button mapping, wouldn’t cause accidental repairs, would still allow repairs on semi-damaged weapons, and would keep you out of the backpack interface.

I have never once accidentally repaired an item in Conan, so that concern is a false.

I usually run my hordes and this single thing has me needing to build pit stop bases. I can swap in items from my pack, like extra health kits but when on the ground with a big pack swarming on horde night, I end up running through first one then another gun, even if they're purple. This is only on 16 hordes; it's worse on 24+.

The process of steps to repair just takes too long to do with a horde around you on blood moon. I really wish there was a repair hotkey.

Having the ability to repair completely broken items on the hotbar just by pressing their button would be an amazing quality of life option. It could be added as an opt-in feature in a gameplay menu or something for those that are concerned about accidental repairs, but frankly, if you have a broken item on your hotbar, you probably want it fixed asap. It's on your hotbar for a reason, right? Repair kits are fairly abundant anyway, so I'd love to see this in some extent.

We're closing in on the point where 7 days should be gaining more and more quality of life changes to make the gameplay experience smoother and more enjoyable. This is one change that would be great for that.
