They better not remove big momma next!
And aesthetically, I prefer them over the stripper anyways. I just wish we didn't have to sacrifice one for the other.
But the point wasn't about quantity, it was about the unique style. I'd gladly take 28 memorable zombies than "guy in tanktop" and "Lois Griffin cosplayer".
That's weird too because clearly different enemy types can be restricted to certain biomes and POIs. I would expect to find cowboy zombies in one of those old west town POIs, nurses in a Poppin' Pills, football players and cheerleaders at the stadium, etc.
At the same time, it makes perfect sense for Party Girl to be wandering around 2KM from the nearest town in the middle of nowhere!
Not that I have anything against the idea of encountering a zombie in costume but that should be a one-time thing, not a regular spawn. The new nurse zombie is a big improvement in my opinion.
I do think cowboy zombies make more sense than lumberjacks in Arizona, but then again the Arizona I'm aware of doesn't have deserts bordering winter wonderlands.
So sure, they could’ve chosen to make the new nurse a sexy Halloween costume type nurse like the old one. If they wanted a game where the zombies are exaggerated stereotypes, they could pursue that look. It’s their game. But just adding a new nurse while keeping the old one wasn’t going to fly.
That said, I am 1000% for random variation among individual zombies. So wanting more types is understandable; I just think the way to get there isn’t through artists making discrete types one at a time.
performance is important. its important to find the line between how you want your game to look and making sure players can actually play. i appreciate that.
This is less about my desire to play a game with exaggerated zombie stereotypes, and more about my desire for a mascot to remain a mascot! the new nurse is boring! she doesnt have to show skin or be sexy or interesting. maybe some funky scrubs, or a surgery ready hair net and apron?
What part of the thread is people being "woke"??????
