I'd argue that post NERF healing factor is my biggest "I reget taking this" skill for me in the entire game. Because it makes the barely bearable hunger drain, hair pulling bad.
Also it's pretty funny jumping off skyscrapers with max parkour, the falling damage boot mod, and the 5000 coin book mod.
I think the game's jumping currently gives basically "0" F's about how long you hold the jump button.
I'm not asking for analogue control levels, just the normal pressNhold jump differences like a lot of platforming games have.
EDIT: as it currently is, I purposely avoid taking more than 1-2points into parkour because of the unwieldy jump-height control.
That’s clever! Good idea.
EDIT: nevermind, it sounds like maxed Parkour happens farther out than Flurry+R&G, so goggles on/off won't mess with those combat perks after all.
Except you can max out Run & Gun and Flurry (and light armor) at Agility 7. Parkour takes level 8.
It is true that you can't max out the combat perks for archery, gunslinger and deep cuts, or the stealth perks but all those are 4/5 at agility 7 (they all need agility 10). Personally I don't see a lot of difference on those between 4 and 5, but I do notice a benefit of maxed athletic perks.
So, I put in points to agility 7 and then keep a pair of goggles.
For some reason I had it reversed in my mind...I thought R&G and Flurry needed 8points while Parkour maxed at 7.
One of those times where I'm happy to be wrong.
