I love playing 'til it either feels way, wayyyy too easy, like I'm able to afk in my base until hunger or thirst strikes and I eat a mass-produced batch of meat stew and pure mineral water only to afk again for hours, or if I get broken limbs early game with high encumbrance and I can't justify wasting 40m slower than usual.
I typically delete worlds I've just started out in if I die before day 14 (1 hour days), because that's a failure that I'm not invested enough to come back from, I can't be arsed to even get my loot. After day 14 I have a good base, a system going, a mine, a dedicated looting spot like a city or town that I go to, a tier 2 trader at the very least, etc.
I personally never go to the new max level because the game loses fun/substance/progression for me by the 40's (days). The level grinding at defaults is also annoying and takes way too long. Typically, i get bored by day 70-ish and usually move on. This solo run i'm testing the water on how long it takes to get certain items/gear or see all the zombie variants.
19.6 world has alot of Huge projects going on that were not ready to abandon.
Massive fortress builds.
Training base for new players.
Experimental hord night bases and a few zero damage but high 9mm cost bases.
