The world generation tools are not yet updated for a20 and are not advised to be used. The default RWG has more options and faster generation now though.
Where?
When browsing the list of General Discussions threads, the sub forums are listed on the right sidebar.
In A20, then you want a small 6K Random Gen. Did a tour to see what they did in Navezgane and the POIs set up for Random Gen now look awkward and misplaced in areas that once looked good. You'll get more variety in a Random Gen in A20 now.
TFP will update Navezgane for A21 since the focus on A20 was Random Gen.
Granted Ram is a huge factor of the Gen tool. I have 64 gigs of Ram. I had no Issue. The important thing is to let it do its thing. Don't fuss with the game while it is Generating. Let it get to finish, then give time for the Preview window to populate. DO Not alt tab and browse Web or watch videos. Like I said, Ram is a big deal. anything you do on your PC will take up Much needed Ram for the Gen tool to work. Shut down any background downloads or streaming apps or programs. Shut down Discord or any other chat systems. Like I said, Ram is a factor.
You can move the map around with the mouse buttons and tilt the map to a 3D perspective. Use AWSD to shift the map as well. Once it is generated pay attention to the map map in the upper right hand corner of the map window. That name is what you look for when starting a new game. Then you can set your session settings before playing.
Nitro is great too, a few more options. But it can get a little complicated for those not used to digging through the file system.
There are also mod loaders as well. That's a whole nother discussion though.
