It is a nice theme...putting the YT videos, on loop, as mentioned, would work fine if one likes it that much. Myself, I don't use menus as my screensaver or a music player.
The only thing I did with the menu music is turn the volume to 25%. I actually like the instrumental theme of the game a lot (even if it is a bit too loud). I think it fits the theme of the game very well.
If you want different in-menu music, you can mute it an play your own. Problem solved. No one else is experiencing your problem (see what I did there? ha ha).
EDIT: Actually, thinking about it a bit more. The in-game music has a slight Last of Us vibe to me, which I really like. It's the simplicity that makes it work well.
