Help! Game keeps freezing (Fixed.)

Even at lowest graphics, at 720p, it's unplayable and keeps freezing a few minutes after I start my game. I'm playing on a private game with only me playing, and I'v also tried verifying game files, using Vulkan, turning off EasyAntiCheat and voice chat, but it still lags. Here are my specs:

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 1030
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640
RAM: 8 GB (2 x 4) DDR3 RAM

Edit: I realized I had texture quality and water quality at high. Turned it down, and it works. I can now run this game at 1080p low preset.

I'v spent an hour trying to get this game to run, and it now crashes upon loading my private game.

I'v tried again, and it crashed again after it starts loading my game, and It says "7DaystoDie.exe has stopped responding". This is so frustrating! I'm also on Windows 10 if that helps figure out the problem.

I'm not sure you can run it with those specs. I'm not for sure on that.

I've never run into a problem with the game since I got a new rig in august. It was lagtacular on my last toaster of a PC

I'm not sure you can run it with those specs. I'm not for sure on that.

Game Debate (A website where you can see if you can run a game or not by entering your specs) says that my PC meets recommended system requirements.

Yeah, minimum requirements. At any rate, I have no idea why it's crashing. Maybe look it up? I figure a solution has gotta be on the internet somewhere

That may be the issue. It's been known to happen with some games.

Update: I tried removing the overclock, and it still crashes. On the first attempt after undoing overclock, it crashed as it usually would. I then tried restarting my PC, but it still didn't work and it kept crashing after I click the load game button.

I remember someone solving freeze in-game by disabling auto-recording in the windows 10 control panel.

I'm also having hitching with my CPU and GPU the usage just drops to near 0 out of nowhere when I have my graphics maxed. PC gets like 40-50 frames maxing everything with those hiccups tho. Ryzen 5 3600x & RTX KO 2060

As you can see in the edit I made, it's now working no problem. For some reason, if I change the graphics preset to medium, the private game won't load and it will crash. Even if I'm getting good FPS on 1080p low, it won't load the game and crash, even if I sacrifice resolution and turn it down to 720p to change the graphics preset to medium. Is this just a bug or something, or is my PC not sufficient enough to run it at 720p medium?
