GLIDING SUIT AND RAPPEL'S!!! (SUGGESTION)

How cool would it be if you could get a glider suit so you could get off sky scrapers faster when u walked from the bottom to the top looting it all
or you could place rope down or a rappel and use that to get down the sky scraper

Parachutes have been requested a bunch - handy for skyscraper diving, for sure, but also for things like accidentally pressing E while flying a gyrocopter up high!

This. Also, For jumping off skyscrapers, have a bit of fore-thought and place a 3x3 or 5x5 pad of haybales (Or even 1x1 if you're brave and confident) at ground level before you ascend- then you can just jump off the top and land in the hay and be perfectly safe from the fall damage.

All the above options also have the advantage of taking 0-1inventory slots. A glider suite would likely take up 2-4 inventory slots (assuming you're wearing clothes/armor to protect yourself during the actual looting) which means you'll fill up a little sooner and need to run all the way back to your storage anyway...which will probably be down some stairs early on rather than jumping off.

Having max parkour and the Thief book (Vol. 5 I believe) beats any parachute or rappel gear for getting down from skyscrapers, trust me

It may surprise you to know that zip lines were actually shown in a dev video for a never released version of the game. There are multiple hypotheses on why they were cut, but I believe madmole’s official response was that they made the game too easy (and yes, he said that after we had gyrocopters we could pull out of our backpacks at any time).

I feel like they should have a "superhero landing" pose and a cloud of dust for when you have those abilities maxed out (or are using the candy) and plummet down more than a few stories.

Did they bring that back, I thought it was nerfed couple of alphas ago?

Glider sounds fun, could be an early game flyer before upgrading to gyro.
