Question about locked cooking pot (with screenshot)

I found a cooking pot, and I used it to make a boiled egg. When I came back with another egg, the pot was locked--see screenshot. How do I unlock the pot? Ty.

Cancel the cooking order that is queued up. You can't add or remove options with order queued.

But....why do you want to unlock it? You want the pot to stay there for the next egg don't you? The lock symbol doesn't mean the pot is unusable. it just means you can't remove it right now.

You cancel the other egg. It's locked because there's something in the queue. If you want the egg to cook instead, that's because there's no fuel.

Both of the above are correct. I’ll add some advice: boiled eggs are a wasteful way to use eggs compared to what you can do with them later, with some other recipes unlocked.

You ran out of fuel so the eggs didn't finish cooking. When you have unfinished cooking you need to either cancel it or fuel it so it finishes then it will unlock.
