If its set low then its not going to provide any protection.
Actually a very good tactics someone very expert at PvP once told us about is to build a base with LOTS of corridors and alternative routes all apparently similar. Then you place your precious stuff in the one only YOU know. Best chance to have raiders get bored and leave.
I forgot: each corridor has several doors the intruder needs to dismantle to go forward... so it will take a long amount of time for them to explore each corridor and unless they're very lucky and patient they won't get to your stuff "in time".
It just makes no sense to me that some random lvl 1s are able to log in a server and completely mess up a base with an LCB in it, even on default settings.
Turrets all around the perimeter, electrice wire fence etc.
We honestly believe they were using some hacks, even with EAC enabled.
