Why no DLC?
Look, there are a ton of very valid complaints about this game. That rate of development, game engine, etc etc.

However, I noticed that this game has no DLC released. They should release a DLC that lets you be wacky characters (like a clown, gangster, etc).

If y'all need money, i'd pay for DLC. (Just one or two, I hate games that focus almost all energy and money♥♥♥♥♥ nothing but dlc with no real progress to the game). The only reason I bought this game so long ago was to support it, even though I knew it was pretttty rough.

I would even contribute to a GoFundMe compaign with basic rewards.

I am not your average gamer. I am an old corporate guy that loves gaming. I know money is king. Provide me with a reason to give it to you and I will gladly assist you in expediting this games progress. So far, my impression is that there is a small group of people doing everything for this game development. Allow us to give you the monetary solution of outsourcing the gruntwork of your field so you can focus on the vision.

I just came back after a long, long break. I see more changes than added content, but still look forward to playing again to see what the last 3 alphas have brought.

I think the OP was just wanting to find a way to contribute to TFP and a game he's enjoying, which is delightful! It would be nice to have something like that, but I don't think we're at that point, just yet. Though... maybe if we did have a way to contribute, the idea of a little something added on to our game, like a trophy or such, would be fun, and those of us who are able and willing to give, would be more than happy to help make our game creators happy.

The game IS intended for solo or up to 4 max 8 players PVE. Not an mmo for hundeds of players per server.

i gotta say, I wish they had kept to that target becasue in a lot of threads the answer to why they changed things so much starting with A13 almost always is 'took up too much computer resources so they had to change that'.

I think now its more of a MP effort game design
Except the target is still 1-8 players? And has been for ages. 16 as an absolute maximum that they don't intend to offer full support or extra balancing for.
Devs have plans for DLC. It'll be done after the game is finished. As it should be.
If I'm reading the OP right, you're mainly thinking in terms of money. E.g., you'd value DLC primarily as a reason for people to give TFP more money. If that's the gist of it, I'd point to licensed 7DtD merchandise as one alternative:

Hopefully Steam won't flag the link as spam.

I would rather contribute to a GoFundme Campaign and get a unique ingame reward or something. As someone who has created many corporate contracts for merchandise deals with small creators, I dont like how little of my money would actually go to to them.

Maybe, what you're looking for are the really great mods that are already out there. TFP actively supports mod makers and that's amazing! Some of the mods, to include Wars3suk, War of the Walkers, Ravenhurst, and Darkness Falls, are mega remakes of the game! They include interesting storylines, tons of new items and new abilities, and make 7 Days into almost totally new games that we can enjoy while our developers continue to work.

I have to say that the measly 20 bucks I spent for this game way back when, has been repaid so much in so many ways that I would willingly throw more money at TFP just... well, just because. Do yourself a favor and look up the 7 Days to Die Mod Launcher.
Could you elaborate on this?
I play a game Called Kenshi, which is actually a rather bare game but I learned you can go to the steam workshop, look up Kenshi, and add mods made by the community that REALLY make the game complete.
However, When i go to the mod workshop and look up this game title, nothing comes up. Is there a different process for modding in this game thats user friendly?

Currently we use Modlets. The main source of mods for 7 Days is in the official forum.

Modlets are pretty easy to install. You can also use Spherii's mod launcher[7d2dmodlauncher.org].
they should add multyplayer
Why would you wanna pay DLC for a game that's still in alpha? Focus needs to be put on the main game first.

Yes yes, lets add paid DLCS to a game still in early access Let's turn a positive reviewed game into an overwhelmingly negative one. You are on the right track on How to kill a good game. Keep at it.

If all he wants is to support the Fun Pimps' efforts financially, that's great, but he can do that by buying as many gift copies of the game as he can afford and either give them away or leave them in his Steam inventory. But he asked for wacky characters like clowns and gangsters, which I'd really prefer the devs not devote development resources to, since even paid DLC needs to have a reasonably wide appeal to be worth doing.
i would love to see dlc with the beta release

I didn't reply to any of your previous comments because you make nonsensical claims. You don't understand what it means to have finite resources, how to use finite resources to make other projects self-sufficient (thus cash cows) that support the main project, etc etc. You also have the folly misconception that when dlc is released, you "have" to buy it. DLC could be something as small as selling soundtracks as many games do. (And I promise, as the nice D.A.R.E people should have taught you in elementary school: Just because you are offered something, doesn't mean you have to take/buy it.)
