Anyway soldier zombies are pretty durable because they have armour. 100 headshots sounds like a bug because that's heinously tough, but as a standard note ap rounds do well against them.
I've seen a bug where Z's stand up while dead, and can block shots for the Z's behind them, but those standing dead are immobile (aside from the jitters), so clearly a bug.
They know when the buggers are truly dead.
Aside from the soilder zombie issue, you can adjust all the settings in the game to tone it down a bit, if you are not having fun because of the blood moons.
You can even turn them totally off, or make all the zeds walk only and never run......even at night.
Had it a few times on 18.4, a few blood moons you get invincible zombies you know they are dead but are still moving and attacking. Eventually they warp off at a 100mph until they are out of view and vanish. :D Probably a server lag thing i have no idea.
I play A18. In other rounds i have no problem with zombies. Mayby you need a little more bullets but you can kill them. But in this game now it is impossible.
B) Some zombies have armor. Armor reduces your damage output by alot. Aim for non-armored parts of their body, or get *armor piercing* bullets to shoot through armor.
C) Instead of facing them - I'd say - hit it. Get away as far as possible. Sometimes, It is better to just run away from them.
FIXED
Sounds like it, yeah, but man would that be trippy as hell to see Zeds warping all over the place.
Just Nope! right out of that map. :D
Many thanks for your response. But the problem is, the soldiers don't die. I just tried again now. Into the military camp and fired with a magnum and machine gun. Again and again in the face, the upper body and nothing happens. I have been playing 7D2D for over 700 hours now and have never had these problems. And when they stand in front of the base at night, I can't even run away. I know it's not easy to be out there as a woman, but I usually know how to defend myself. ;)
I'd suggest a complete reinstall of 7DTD(just backup your worlds). Maybe some XML data got corrupted, or something.
That is obviously a local bug, that is somehow tied to files on your PC.
Try switching difficulty to the easiest one. Will zombies become killable after that?
