How do you grow mushrooms?

My mushrooms aren't growing, so i tried putting frames around it to make it dark. Doesn't seem to be growing.

How do they normally grow?

I just digged underground and placed them on normal dirt not tilled. They take some time to grow it seems.

You might have a bug because i grow them for days (ingame) without any problems. Juste take a couple of days

I think they just have as longer grow time than other crops

Oh ok, I have them on fertilized tilled soil, is that the case? Also can they be grown in daylight or should I make it underground? Thanks

yes they can grow in daylight like other crops

They grow like other crops in sun and get the bonuses from tilled and fertalized soil the same

The only thing I've seen different is they seem to take 2 to 3 times longer to grow

In a15 I used to grow them underground, in a16 they seem to require sunlight the same as other plants

Gotcha, appreciate it.. Guess i'll keep waiting, cause all my other crops grew. I planted them at the same time so they probably take more time to grow.

Can comfirm this. I usually make 10 x 11 pllots (11 different plant seeds) and plant 10 seeds of each type of plant at the same time. I can harvest all plants 2 times before harvesting 1 time on mushrooms.
