Catwalk placement
Can someone tell me if there's a way to place catwalks level with the top of a building block? I can get iron bars to place like that as shooting platforms, but not catwalks so far. they seem to have to lay on top of the building or be halfway down the block.

Here's a picture of iron bars/railing working the way I want Vs. what I'm getting from the catwalk:

While I'm asking questions, is there a drawbridge catwalk? Like a miniature version of the drawbridge.

Both catwalk and railings are 'Full Blocks'; The reason you can do what you're doing with railing is due to how you can rotate it; IT's basically on its side with the solid part of the block facing up; But its still a full block.

You -can- do the same thing with catwalks, but basically it means putting them in upside down; AS thats where the solid part of the block is. Use advanced rotation to do so.

Tyvm. I honestly tried the advanced rotation option first and as far as I could tell it did nothing, but not sure why. As you said, it does work. Interesting to know how it all works.

For your second question about a “drawbridge catwalk,” try using a hatch.
