Searching A dead Zombie

Anyone else not able to search dead zombies as well once they are killed. I can no longer do that and I am not sure if its just me or if anyone else is having this issue. they need to bring it back if they took it away. took half the fun out of the game.

hmm i just think that killing zombies to get stuff from them was way to fun. I am bummed that they took it away hopefully they bring it back. I am still waiting to see a cyot in the game lol

The gore block was removed due to a duplication exploit, and a large impact to client performance on horde nights. Also, most of the junk you got from drops was exactly that. Junk.

Zeds still drop loot, It's just less often, and more useful items.

When loot does drop from a zombie, it appears in a large bright yellow bag. You can't miss it.

If you enjoy the opportunity to loot all zombies like I do, there are mods like ComSenMod that attempt to offer the best of both worlds. No gore blocks, all ragdolls lootable, more backpacks, and backpack loot tailored for the type of zombie that dropped it.

The drop rate for loot seems really low to me. While i'm still new and i think only lvl 18 on my first character I think I could count zombie loot drops on 1 hand.

It is. You should be getting loot from actual looting, and not from killing zeds.

Go clear a couple of POI's and you won't have any bag space left.
You'll also be swimming in guns.
