Hunger and thirst are not really an issue after about day 3 for an average player. I certainly would not waste skill points on Camel and Survivor as suggested above.
Lengthened the days, feels stupid having to eat all the time. Just wanted to adjust it accordingly: double day, half hunger and thirst.
One way around it is to change the amount of hunger/thirst replenished (items.xml)
So for instance, as you've doubled the day length, you could double the values for Charred Meat from-
<property name="Gain_food" value="10" />
<property name="Gain_water" value="-5" />
to
<property name="Gain_food" value="20" />
<property name="Gain_water" value="-10" />
Ah yeah that makes sense. A bit less convenient, but sounds like it'll do it.
Thank you.
Once you get used to it it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
In this game you have to eat 2 boars and 50 eggs daily and drink 5 gallons of water. Nice necro of 8 years by the way lol.
This aged like fine wine btw.
