As for the features supported... I don't know because I play wirelessly so until they add support (literally no Playstation Controller, DS3/4/5 do anything at all via Bluetooth atm) I'm having to use Steam Input / DS4 as alternatives to play wireless. Perhaps someone, if you still care and don't mind that issue, will drop in and share.
I saw something in a trailer involving riding your chocobo and the adaptive triggers. Was hoping there'd be plenty of uses for it.
I love the Dualsense, but it's a shame that the adaptive triggers in particular are so rarely used.
This game isn't the best example of usage though but its still one of the most incredible controllers you can buy. Its really something that has enhanced gameplay.
The game only supports XInput. So you need to use Special K, DS4Windows or (ugh) Steam Input. And all that's doing is emulating an Xbox controller.
You have to use Dualsense wired to get the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. I just ordered a 3m USB C cable from Amazon.
This one just doesn't support DualSense.
You can, at least, set the icons to PlayStation manually.
What I get the question is on the PS5 how much dual sense features are implemented on this game.
Have you tried to turn the "Controller Audio" on? It need to be on, and in some cases it's turned off by default - myself included.
Yeah, I just wanted to know if it did anything interesting in the full game. In the demo I quickly forgot the haptic feedback was on, and the adaptive triggers were just for opening the occasional door.
You're really going to insist that it doesn't support the Dualsense? Is everyone who played the demo and says it does lying?
it's nice but not game changing like in returnal / ratchet.
