Quest support?
Has anyone managed to get an Oculus Quest working with SteamVR on Linux? Either wired or wireless?

No idea if something changes since then.

Yeah, ALVR does look like the best option. Is there any way to get it without having to compile from source at the moment?

Sadly none of this seems to work with my quest 1. Steam VR claims to not to be able to see my headset even though I have it plugged in, and I can see the Android aspect of it.

because quest headsets don't work plugged in on linux. ALVR is similar to Oculus Air Link

it can work with a link cable, you just need to configure alvr to use tcp and then use adb to forward the information to the headset (this can be done automatically with adbforwarder and the official alvr guide has instructions on how to do this, but in short adbforwarder looks for an adb device and it auto sends a command for the device to look for data coming from the specified ports via tcp over usb. it will also resend this command if the connection is interrupted for any reason)

TCP? but the cable is a usb3 cable, and doesn't use ethernet, right? I'm confused ....
