Also had some problems (Arch) not long ago after a system upgrade. To get vr games running i had to downgrade some packages via the arch's archive including nvidia. Then, using linux-beta, it started working again.

Not familiar with Manjaro or what gpu you are using but maybe it can be of some help.

I've had the same error on Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS with my Vive. I'm using a nvidia 1650 rtx
