Spectator Screen Image Stabilization (Like Oculus Mirror)
Having tried the recent update to Oculus Mirror with spectactator screen Image Stabilization, I think it's time SteamVR updated it's VR spectator mode, with similar features. You can adjust the FOV render scale (to zoom out) and also lock horizontal head roll and save your configuration settings. This is great for streaming/recording fast moving FPS games (with Oculus) which can now look more like 2D FPS for the rather than some shakey mess for viewers.

Whilst you are in there, the Steam VR spectator view could do with an overhaul. Last time I used it (rather than game rendered spectator view) the FPS seemed weird/low compared to the game rendered spectator view.

Yeah, we have a bunch of features we want from the VR View 😅 The funny part about the view stabilization is that they already have the tech inside Half-Life: Alyx, so it's available in house! They just added it to the game rather than SteamVR 😔

Another feature we would like is overlay filtering, or hiding them completely, some output options for what is actually visible in the VR View.

Regarding the low frame-rate in the VR View, see my summary here[github.com].

You can use LIV First Person Stabilizer but it doesn't work if the game has anti-cheat. Would be much better if SteamVR had it built in.
