Roblox not working with steamvr?? Htc vive

Hi everyone, the past few days I have been able to use ROBLOX on the Htc vive with no issues, today i had some issues with the headset not detecting roblox.

However, today Steam VR is not recognizing ROBLOX anymore and displaying it on the headset. Usually from Steam VR Home it will swap to ROBLOX but it is no longer doing that. Instead, when ROBLOX opens I get partially shoved into the ground on Steam VR Home? ROBLOX does boot up in VR mode and still detects the movement of the headset and controllers. It just will not display the game to the headset.

I've tried everything I could think of. Restarting PC, unplugging and replugging, even uninstalling and reinstalling all the software (Viveport, Steam VR, and ROBLOX). I have no clue on what else I could try that is causing the problem. Anyone know what might be the issue?

I just started having the exact same problem here, ive normally played fine but it randomlly started doing this. But ive seen many other people with this problem so it isnt a problem on your end, all we can do is wait for a patch

Yeah, but ive contacted roblox support MANY TIMES,and all they do is direct me to the vr site.

Hello, I'm a developer on Roblox - and I can tell you from looking at the recent change-log for Roblox that they have indeed made intentional changes to the way the platform works for VR. You're supposed to launch SteamVR before joining the game rather than it auto-launching, however if it's not working what-so-ever this is indeed a bug.

This issue is not to do with Valve.

But sir, I do that, I launch steamvr before i entering a roblox game, and when i try to do so, it shoves me in the ground of steamvr home.

I've been working on fixing issues with Roblox VR not working on the Oculus Quest 2, and here's a summary of solutions:

General Requirements for Roblox VR on Quest 2:
*You need a VR-capable PC connected to the headset via Oculus Link or Air Link.

its in your steam vr settings. It should say steamvr
