SteamVR beta 1.14.1 - SteamVR can not start, error loop
Since latest steam vr update I can not start steam VR, and VR games together with it. First pop-up window says "SteamVR Error, unexpected error, please restart steamvr".
At same time there is another error window with "SteamVR needs to set itself up for App Containers. This is required to allow web browsers to show content on your HMD." There are 2 possibilities:
1) remove (decline)
2) Update permissions - that leads me to next window, with allowance for Steamvr "removeusbhelper.exe" to change my system (my pc). I click yes, but noting happens.
I can then only restart steamvr, but error happends again and again.
I tried restart pc.
I tried uninstall steamvr and reinstal - same.
What I need to do to play ma steam games in VR?

HMD Pimax 5k+, GPU 2080Ti, CPU 8700k, index controllers, base stations 1.0
Please help.

EDIT: Non Beta works. Just beta has that problem. I tried 2 times switch to beta and back, beta does not work. I can now play, but there is something you need to solve in beta release.

I am having exactly the same problem with beta 1.14.1, my Pimax 5K+ and 2080Ti. An unexpected failure with error number 476.

When I reboot my computer, it will run *once*. If I exit VR and try again, it will once again fail every time, no matter how often I close & restart SteamVR or the Pimax service.

I'm switching back to the non-beta version for now.

+1 on 1.14.1 Error "SteamVR Fail" error code 476.
Pimax 5K+
Intel i7-8700k
Nvidia Geforce 2080TI.

Reverted to non beta and it works fine

Still the same issue with 1.14.2.

I have the same Problem with my Pimax5K+. - Simple solution... Deactivate the release for the beta versions in the settings and reinstall SteamVR. - The stable version 1.13.10 works.

the problem is, if they released this to public and do not bother fixing this.
our headset will be a brick.
