Failed nvEncEncodePicture. Error 4 when using Steam VR playing MSFS2020
Observation:
When start in cockpit of any default plane (no Addons), My quest 3 suddenly stopped and back to steam loading screen. After that, it said host PC has an Error, and I can see Steam VR pop up a message from the host PC showed:
VRlink driver encountered a fatal error: Failed nvEncEncodingPicture: Error 4.
Or unmap input mismatch something like that.
Then game crashed.

I have update my Nvidia 3050 Ti laptop to the latest driver. But this issue is still persisting.

Steps:
1. from Quest 3 open Steam VR
2. connect Steam VR to my laptop
3. after enter Steam VR room, choose MSFS2020
4. after get into the game, switch to VR mode, go to world, choose a beoing 747/ Airbus 320 from that from the game
5. choose a random airport
6. click on fly
7. when finish loading and try to get in cockpit, the game stucked and after few secs, it shows Steam loading icon
8. and then it shows no video stream, and check host PC
9. put away headset, and check my laptop screen, it showed
VRlink driver encountered a fatal error: Failed nvEncEncodingPicture: Error 4.
Or unmap input mismatch something like that.
Then game crashed.

My HW info:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti laptop GPU

My Laptop is ASUS ROG Strix G513QE

Please HELP!!! A lot of THANKS!!!!

Make sure you got windows mixed reality of windows and steam. The newest windows updat did something. Update to SteamVR beta. It should tell you Automatically. I just kept trying until it worked.

The same problem, did you solve the problem?
I launch games, it works fine for a while and then crashes with an error after a while.
I tried completely reinstalling the nvidia drivers and software for it, I also reinstalled and tried different versions of steamVR,
Nothing helps, I connect to the PC using steamlink using the okulus quest 2 helmet.
It used to work fine, I didn't seem to change anything, neither the settings nor the programs.

No, I gave up already, and I am trying luck on 2024.
