Steam Link app on Quest 2 keeps disconnecting
I'm using a Quest 2 VR headset using Steam Link to connect to my laptop

Previously I was connected to an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44 (Ryzen 5 4600H + GTX 1650 Mobile + 16 GB RAM) and it worked nicely most of the time, little to no disconnection, and a great boost of performance by ditching the Oculus Software for connection, the laptop at the time was full of various audio management drivers too and some that won't mess with Steam so it was all good from there

But recently I've upgraded to a Lenovo LOQ 15APH8 (Ryzen 7 7840HS + RTX 4050 + 32 GB RAM), with pretty much the same set of software installed as the older Nitro 5, I would expect an extra performance boost and more stable connection due to the larger performance headroom but suddenly the Link would disconnect a lot saying "Host PC stopped responding (Error code 200)" inside the headset and followed up by an error code -203 within the SteamVR client itself a moment after the disconnection happened, this happens a ton of times when I'm in some games or most notably in Half-Life: Alyx, either the disconnection happens randomly or when the game goes into a loading screen, contacted support, they said it might be the audio management drivers & apps but it wasn't so the effort was to no avail, so now I'm back to using Oculus Link for the time being, and waste some of the performance benefits from my new laptop :(

Facing the same issue. What audio management drivers/software do you use? Because I also have some.

Try using virtual desktop I find it's the best way, plus you can Lunch Half Life Alyx this way.

If that doesn't work you can refund.

Try to disable GPU hardware acceleration. I found this in the steam link forum:

How to disable GPU acceleration is here:
"""
Searched for this error code, and I tried one of the fixes, switching off "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" in Windows. This is found in Start Menu > Setting & then in Settings: System > Display > Graphics > Default graphics settings.

After restarting PC, this stopped SteamVR from crashing.
"""

Tried so far and all worked well for 50 minutes in VRchat.
