Steamvr crashing constantly

Hi, I am completly unsure of the reason why Steamvr always crashes after a few minutes while in game and this has now been happening for a while now to the point where it drives me insane.

I use a Quest 2 with steamlink and for a while it was my go to for vr until recently where I've been getting errors and crashes. So decided to went back to airlink with the Oculus app and oddly enough this time around it was only Steamvr that was crashing. My pc is running an RTX 2080 for the gpu and updating and reinstalling the drivers and apps did not help.

I've also gotten an error message from Steamvr saying "The VRLink Driver encountered a fatal error: Error. Got error during nvEncEncodePicture EOS with NVENCSTATUS. 4 . Error: Device passes to the API is invalid."

Can someone help me fix this before I give up and reinstall everything.

1. What NVIDIA Driver version are you on? You must be on at least 546.17.

2. We tweaked the way some of this works with the new SteamVR beta available here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/250820?emclan=103582791435040972&emgid=3884982211424067312 Please give the Beta a shot, and let us know how it goes.

I was using the latest ones 546.33 and it was still crashing in both the normal and beta channels, but I noticed there has been an update, so i'll give it a shot.
I also gave rolling back the drivers to see if it would help but this time it ended up being unstable in the games.

Steam vr is really bug, I have to keap unistalling it and install again so it can work
