SteamVR

My settings won't work / start up?
After i updated to 1.9.13 i now can't open up setting with neither the left controllers settings button nor the right controller. My headset settings button won't work either. I don't know what the problem is, can someone help me?

Do you have anything listening on port 27062 on your machine when SteamVR is *not* running?

You can check in a command prompt with:

netstat -an | findstr 27062

If there is, you will see something like this:

TCP 127.0.0.1:27062 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING

Would you be able to help me with my problem? I can’t open my settings whether i’m ingame neither with my controller nor my headset or in the SteamVr application. Everything is messed up after the update and nobody seems to care about the problems. It has been 2 days and steam support hasn’t reached back out to me yet. And the might not at all like they always do.

I have the same problem as ahmedita. I've checked what you asked and nothing showed up for that command until I started SteamVR.

After starting these showed up, if that helps.

You can check in a command prompt with:

netstat -an | findstr 27062

If there is, you will see something like this:

TCP 127.0.0.1:27062 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING

I found something close to TCP 127.0.0.1:27062 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING but I found the one you wrote about only when I started SteamVr and then I saw it. It was there only when i had SteamVr opened up!

It’s been 21 hours since you last wrote anything... Would you please be able to help me? I already answered your questions regarding the thing i had to check in the command prompt. Please be kind enough to reply back, i’ve stopped playing lately only because of this problem. I beg of you! The settings wont open at all.

Is it released yet? I'm now ready to try it out if so.

I will be starting up SteamVr very soon, I just have to make some tea ;). And also, pardon me. But may I ask what you mean with " opt " ? Could it be optimize? And in that case how do i optimize it? All I have to do is to start up SteamVr? Am I correct or am I on the wrong path?

Also, I just tried to open my settings both ingame and on desktop but neither worked for me...

Thank you a lot! It works great now! My settings work. One more question though, when is the camera pass-through supposed to work or rather when is it going to work? Do you have any idea?

Apologies about reviving this thread - but I'm having the same issue that ahmedita describes, and opting into the beta DOES NOT help in my case.

See my post here in the troubleshooting section (Though Ig uess maybe it should have been in bug reports).
