ISSUE
Latest Steam VR beta 1522690299 using wrong resolution for Samsung Odyssey.

OS
Windows 10 64-bit

STEPS
Launch Windows Mixed Reality for Steam VR
Open the Steam VR beta menu
Click on Settings
Click on Video

RESULTS
With Manual Override enabled, Application Resolution is currently 1427 X 1779 per eye when set to 100%.

EXPECTED
The Odyssey's native resolution is 1,440 x 1,600 @90/60Hz per eye. Please fix devs and thank you! Bug Screenshot http://tinypic.com/r/2ithkye/9

I'm getting this with my Odyssey as well, though it reports 100% as 1428 x 1776 per eye.

The resolution recommended to applications for rendering doesn't exactly match the native resolution of the displays due to optics. Alex Vlachos talks about this in more detail in his 2015 GDC talk here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JO7G38_pxU4

Emm what he means is 100% resolution (like no SS) should be 1440 x 1600, and of course we all get different recommanded resolution based on different hardwares (cpu, gpu). But no matter what, when there is no Ss (100% resolution of our headset), we should get 1440 x 1600 instead....

And the aspect ratio is not the same as well :(

Me too, i have these headsetk is config its the same: 1427 X 1779 per eye.

The problem, it's in aspect ratio on this resolution, is bitter different on the headset.
