Oculus Rift Freezes After a Short Time Playing
Prior to last week, I used my Rift in SteamVR with very few problems. However, very recently, my Rift has begun to freeze up whenever I play games in SteamVR. I can play anything for about 15 minutes, after which point my visuals will begin stuttering and then my display goes black. SteamVR tells me that it thinks there's a problem with my HDMI cord. However, Oculus Home and anything I play from the Oculus store aren't affected by this issue.

So, for instance, I want to play Beat Saber. I press the SteamVR button in the top right. Beat Saber starts. Everything works: I can select songs, play the game, etc. However, about fifteen minutes in, my game stutters between two frames, audio stops, and a couple of seconds later, the display goes black. The game, however, continues on, as seen on my monitor. SteamVR says there's an issue with my HDMI cable, and prompts me to either restart SteamVR or quit. If I choose to restart, everything works again, but will inevitably crash and present me with the same prompts.

My OS is Windows 10 - 64 bit edition. My drivers for the Rift are up-to-date. SteamVR is on its latest version. I've verified all of my game files, including SteamVR itself. I've contacted Rift customer support and they believe it's an issue with SteamVR, and not the Rift itself.

I am running into the same issue. I can't even get 3 minutes into a game without it crashing and saying that there was an issue with the Oculus driver.

Can you post a SteamVR system report from when it's in this state?

To obtain one of these, click the 'SteamVR' menu, 'Create System Report' and then 'Copy to Clipboard' or 'Save to File' and post the results somewhere. (There'll be a fair amount of detail so it won't fit in a comment here. Google Drive, Dropbox and similar seem to be good solutions.)

I'll also note that, between then and making this, I updated my GPU drivers. I don't know if that's done anything, but I figured it might be worth mentioning, at any rate.

Looks like your Vive trackers are losing connection shortly before the Rift does - erm ... Vive trackers? You have quite the setup!

Everything is attached to the same USB controller - with three Rift cameras, the Rift itself and the three Vive tracker dongles, I wouldn't be surprised if USB is getting overloaded.

I'd try simplifying things a bit and working up from there.
