Error code 451

everytime i try to load into vrhcat steam vr keeps saying error code 451. so it says my video isnt being put on my headset. any one know a fix?

same here i also do not have my pc driectly through wire connected to wifi but comouter and wifi are good,

I have a wired connection and this error still pops up 1-2 minutes after connecting. Seems to be a common issue.

im having the same issue but when you search up the issue the web just says that this problem cannot be explained because of legal reasons so it really makes me wonder what the heck is going on if we got the 451!!! the thing says im connected but no video feed is going through so I cant play no mans sky vr or anything fun like that like 90 percent of the time I dont even get to load in

There is a great workaround for SteamVR error 451: disable hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (HAGS).

Navigate to Settings > System > Display.

At the bottom, select the button labeled “Graphics” on Windows 11+ or “Graphic settings” on Windows 10.

If prompted, click Change default graphics settings.

Disable the setting for hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling, and restart your PC.
