Oculus quest 2 controllers refuse to connect to steam vr

I play on oculus quest 2 using the steam link app and as of the 8th of December 2024 my controllers have been refusing to connect to steam no matter what i try the solutions ive attempt are as follows: Reinstalling Steam VR, Trying link cable, swapping to the newest beta and previous versions of Steam VR if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as I don't know what to do anymore

Please could you upload a system report? You can do so by clicking the menu button at the top left of the SteamVR window > Generate System Report.

Feel free to upload it or create a steam support ticket and sending the ticket number here.

No dw i found a fix if you see this tell anyone with the same problem that they should hold down they're power button and volume button at the same time till a green analog text appears then use the volume button to scroll through the options and power button to select an option and reset headset but NOT factory reset it just a normal reset and it should fix the issue as its an oculus thing not steam thing yw byeeee
