meta quest 3 boundaries randomly switched to steam steam vr chaparone
I have been using steam VR for quite a while and up until now chaperone didn't show up at all and instead the medaquest boundaries would show up. it's basically a grid along the walls in my living room. somehow it magically changed in the past two days and now I no longer have the grid from the medaquest but now I have this ridiculous camera pass through and a bubble underneath my feet when I'm in game. I hate this and it's literally ruining everything. I can't figure out how to turn anything off and it's driving me crazy

I had a similar issues a few months ago on my Meta Quest 3. It kept enabling passthrough on its own without my knowledge. Try manually turning passthrough off when this happens, it might fix it.

Same problem here. I have a 1.2m "play area" in steamVr, and it's easy to trigger this annoying passthrough when moving around. it does not take the play area from the quest as it should. Better to use Meta's Air Link for now, since SteamVR also stutters a lot for me

Yep,
it is no longer passing through the Meta bounds to steamvr,
i've tested in airlink, steamlink, and virtual desktop, all have the same issues.
